Bring your archive into the commons.
Knowledge Commons hosts the catalogues of partner organisations free of charge. We provide cataloguing, multilingual access, long-term preservation, and a permanent home for materials produced by civil society.
Eligibility
01
You are a civil society organisation
NGOs, community archives, advocacy groups, research collectives, diaspora organisations, and grassroots networks. Not commercial publishers, not state institutions acting in an official capacity.
02
You hold the rights to your materials
You own, were granted, or operate under an open licence for the materials you wish to deposit. Where contributors are involved, you have informed consent.
03
You agree to open licensing
Materials are published under a Creative Commons licence (CC BY, CC BY-SA, CC BY-NC, or compatible). Sensitive materials may be embargoed or restricted on a case-by-case basis.
04
You align with our values
Commitment to racial justice, anti-discrimination, democratic governance, and community ownership. We decline applications from organisations whose stated work conflicts with these.
