Selin Acar designs and delivers Equal Voices Initiative’s education work: workshops for schools, trainings for public-facing institutions, and community evenings where affected people set the agenda. An educator by background, she joined the organization’s founding circle of organizers, educators, and legal advocates because she kept watching institutions discuss racism without the people who experience it in the room. Her sessions are built on the same conviction as the organization’s writing — name the reality first, then open the options.
