Maren Kessler leads Justice Access Centre’s legal-information work, where the first task is often turning fear and paperwork into a map. She writes about urgency, documents, evidence, deadlines, and the difference between general information, individual legal advice, and representation. Maren’s materials are designed for people who do not yet know whether they have a legal problem, but cannot afford to wait until confusion decides the case for them.
