Rosa Martinez leads workshops where young people practise speaking, decision-making, and leadership without being asked to perform a version of confidence that does not fit them. She came to youth work through community organizing and brings that lens into the organization’s publications: belonging is not a personality trait, it is shaped by rooms, rules, money, language, and who gets treated as obvious. Rosa co-writes resources on voice, family expectations, and participation in unfamiliar institutions.
